The definition of a community hospital is one that is truly a part of its service area — we especially care because our patients are our neighbors. We are also active in Bourbon County, whether being present for local charities and fundraisers, or with Kids Fairs and child safety shows, we feel as though we help to watch over the wellness of our neighbors. Another hallmark of a solid community hospital is a working environment that is among people who can grow to be friends, and where multi–tasking and growing skill sets is normal. |
Our semi-annual Kids Fair draws thousands to campus for fun and wellness information
At 52 beds, Bourbon Community Hospital an intimate facility and we fit nicely into our community. We are not just supported by our community and its leaders, but also by Lifepoint Hospitals, Inc. (NAS: LPNT) and 60+ corporation whose specialty is the non–urban hospital.
We like being at kids fairs and community wellness programs because we care for our friends and neighbors
We are a place of welcome, friendship, caring. We are sought out by our fellow citizens when they are in a health crisis. We're proud to serve because we love our neighbors. There is a great "spirit" at our hospital, promoted from our administration to our staff members. Our employees live in a place where hospital employees are admired and respected, and we humbly accept the responsibility — come join us!
