Note the upside down horseshoe in the extreme SW of our county, which outlines the Arkansas River, and then the Ozarks to or north, which is the earmark of the "river valley;"
this "foothill climate" is ideal for wine production as well as year-round mild weather – we average 41 degree temperature in winter and 81 degrees in summer, which 4" of snow – an almost perfect "mild four seasons" description!
