Life in Selma
All There is To Do

Specialty markets, water recreation, nationally known artists, and
healthy kids activities, await newcomers in Selma
You will experience
many firsts in Selma: an invitation to a funeral of someone you
don't know. A nationally famous storyteller may invite you to a
picnic at the cemetery. You'll come across a breathtaking
watercolor painting at our local gallery and not believe it when
you're told the painter is over 90 years old. You will learn that
the correct way to make a BBQ sandwich is with slaw and pickles.
Then one day, you'll be showing your son how to bait a hook for the
first time fishing. And before you know it, your daughter will be
growing up and you'll feel good that she has friends of the same
character and goals and dreams.
All one has to
do is focus on the things that really matter, and all of a sudden
Selma becomes compelling, and marvelous.

more, pay less, be in a safer environment, without large city or
suburb issues (from crime, accidents, and litigiousness, all
which result in higher insurance and costs to do business, to
traffic and parking snarls, which take time from what your life),
while you live in a community that has real multi-century old
character and history.
After viewing
this Life in Selma section of our presentation, you will have
no doubts as to why we are "The Shangri-la" of the southern
United States.
